Retro halftone text in GIMP
As I mentioned on the weekend, I saw a photoshop tutorial for halftone text. I thought it was kind of cool… retro. So I decided to try it out in GIMP (v2.4). It’s really simple!

My brother asked me if I knew how to create a sort of film noir effect for a photograph. The example he showed me was essentially a couple of people silhouettes with a lot of fog.
