Check it out!

Google G’day MATE

Google has brought out a very cool new product called Google G’day. It uses MATE technology to take the data that the Google bots have spent the last however-many years trawling and some funky, fuzzy prediction parameters to tell you what the internet is going to look like tomorrow.

Perhaps some of us will be able to snake some good blog post topics before they happen?!

Reminds me of that song, “It’s all just a little bit of history repeating…”

I fell for it!
Not in the sense of the predictions being ANYWHERE near accurate; but I thought they had at least added the thing to the search for a day of so to muck around…but…it appears…none of it is real!
Liars!!!!
Ahhhhh………..:(

Awesome!! And have you seen the good stuff at Think Geek? They just keep out doing themselves! Check the side bar under Favorites for last year’s new products :D

Haha, don’t worry Jus, I always fall for stuff like this (basically ’cause I usually forget about April Fools).

Yes Hamish, we are silly :)

LaurenMarie, yeah. I got a newsletter from Think Geek with that stuff. They have such weird stuff I didn’t realise they were joking! My reaction was “gross” to the peeing thing. The Labrinth Lock, Spazztroids and t-shirts look like stuff they’d sell.

I know, they sell such outrageous stuff that they really sucker me in with these joke products! The 8-bit tie was supposed to be a practical joke, but there was such a huge response to it, they actually made it! I think my favorites so far are the ones from last year: the WiiHelm and the Surge Stix (they don’t have a link to these!). That WiiHelm video had me rolling on the floor!
