There are people who will do anything to make a quick buck. Including exploiting good causes. I've seen some cosmetic giants pledging certain percentage of their sales for the cause. It doesn't seem particularly reliable. It would be hard to fake selling Pink Ribbons - they make some fairly fancy looking pins.
