I love the way Christopher Eccleston as Dr Who says “Fantastic!”, it’s great.
I discovered that you can assign “private” to blog posts and they’re only visible when you’re signed in. So I could write something and decide I wanted to keep it private. This was a good discovery because I wrote a post about six months ago that I didn’t want people to read (it mentioned some stupid things that other people did, who may not have wanted those things told), but I felt the need to record it and maybe post it later (when the topics weren’t as sensitive). It’s still sitting as a draft because I didn’t think that “private” actually made it invisible and the password protect wasn’t really fair, to make a post and then say “you can’t read this one without a password”.
Apple has a pretty sweet offer for tertiary students; if you buy a computer and an iPod you get a $200 cashback. So if I bought a Macbook, which I already hope to do, and buy a 2GB iPod nano then after cashback the iPod is only $20. Sweet huh? I’d still need the money upfront though so that might not happen, especially since I have a working 1GB nano – the 2nd generation ones are hot but I’m pretty content with the one I have.
I love Snow Patrol’s song Make This Go On Forever. Fantastic! Set Fire To The Third Bar featuring Martha Wainright is also gorgeous. I also like It’s Beginning To Get To Me a lot, but it can be a bit depressing.
Why do bands always have Flash websites? Some of them have spiffy interactive things but a lot of them could have done the same thing with CSS, I suppose it’s the designers that are in love with flash. At least flash works on my Ubuntu box now 🙂
Not so fantastic is that I got a boat load of tail tips that were missed in the freezer so I’m a bit behind on extracting them. I hope they’re ready in the morning.
Hope y’all have a nice Tuesday, for those in this area of the world, have a fantastic night!
