My friends’ baby, who was born with TGA, is now home! His parents were able to take him home yesterday, one month after he was born and less than a week after having a pacemaker placed inside him.
His first surgery to correct the position of his arteries and patch the holes in his heart went well, but his heart wasn’t beating as strongly as it should. So about a week later he had an internal pacemaker put in and he’s now feeding better and doing pretty well.
God answered prayers and he provided doctors and nurses that cared for Liam and helped him get a lot better. I wonder if I can send the docs and nurses chocolates at Westmead hospital…
Looking forward to visiting my friends at home and meeting Liam!
