I saw something similar to this on another photoblog and thought it was beautiful. So I wanted to see if I could produce something similar. I learnt that the flash does an excellent job over exposing things in manual mode, which I already knew. I did figure out that if I decrease the exposure and use the flash I get some interesting detail but the pic is still very over exposed. One day I'll have a camera that can be adjusted in apature and shutter speed at the same time! Until then we'll get a lot of white. I do like the hair in this pic; they're no silver hairs, just reflective.
